This really is my favourite time of the year. First came the cherry blossoms and now it's lilacs. Every night I walk home from work, just to smell the flowers. The streets are quiet, the air is crisp. Instead of garbage, the smell of sweet flowers fills the night. Lilacs really are the nicest. Johnnie has this big tree in the front yard that hasn't yet bloomed. Maybe tonight.
