Saturday was my Birthday. It was a gloomy rainy day, so Rich and I went on a fume hood mission. First stop, fried chicken. I want to say it was the yummiest treat ever - especially since The Stockyards has been praised by every Toronto foodie around, but it was just ok. The fried parts were yummy, but it was hard to get at the meat. The coleslaw and fries were tasty, but the fish sandwich was not. I'm happy we went. It was a great Birthday adventure, plus we found a fume hood on sale.
