I'm totally, absolutely, obsessively crazy for Radiolab. Thank you Ben for turning me on to the best radio program ever. Radiolab is a cross between This American Life (old obsession) and Quirks and Quarks. It's all about science and how it relates to us. The stories are fascinating. My favourite to date is the Totally Tumours - a 3 part series that discussed tumours and how they're evolving, how they make people see g-d and even have orgasms at the site of a pin! Beyond the riveting subjects are two charming hosts and a really cool way of layering voices and sound effects. Listen to the Lucy story first - a heartbreaking tale of a chimp who was raised to be human and then left on her own.
