One night last week, Rich and I attempted to re-assemble our kitchen. We tried putting back together the cupboards and counters, but as it turns out most of the pieces were pitched in the demolition, so we didn't have much to choose from. Needless to say, it looked ghetto, but I was optimistic (no, not really). Yesterday, we gave in and went to Ikea in search of our new kitchen. It's going to be awesome! I am so psyched to cook a turkey and make a pie in our fresh new space. We opted for the shiniest white they have. We'll get 2 slide out pantries and all drawers - not a single annoying cupboard. And we're sticking to shelves on top. It's tough to imagine, but man is it going to be fabulous. Getting so close now!
