Yesterday Rich and I made our yearly pilgrimage to the Royal Winter Fair. We go for the food but stay for the butter sculptures. It's a really fun outing and thanks to OTDA we got free tickets. Well amongst the cows and sheep I discovered THE nicest boots. Der Dau makes real riding boots and they are so nice. The barrel of the boot is really high and the leathers they use are gorgeous - I'm torn between a croc black patent or a traditional brown and black polo boot. I didn't buy boots yesterday and now I realize that you can only get them in NYC. A missed boot-opportunity indeed.
